The Sun and Moon is the first purely decorative piece I have created. The gears are operated by the gear on the side, and the Sun and Moon act as a pawl lever preventing them from turning in the opposite direction. The Shooting Star sits on top of a cage gear that is connected to the main gear set via a hook gear. As with all of my work, everything is done by hand.
